Happiness is a journey, not a destination.
I’m Zara Kyd, a Person Centred Counsellor based in Crewe.
Welcome
I’m Zara Kyd, I am a Person Centred Counsellor based in Crewe, England. I hold a BSc Hons in Person Centred Counselling with Derby University. I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and hold a current DBS check certificate.
As a passionate and committed person, I aim to help clients by providing a safe space where I will work alongside you, as you explore recent and long standing personal issues, helping you gain a greater understanding of your concerns and find a better way forward.
Here To Help
Evaluate
If you are grappling with life’s challenges, feeling they are too much to bear, then maybe I can help! I will journey along side you as you explore the hard times you are encountering.
Balance
I will provide a professional, safe, confidential and non-judgemental space in which you will be able to explore recent and long standing personal issues.
Grow
By gaining a greater understanding of your unhappiness and distress, you can find a better way forwards.
Person-Centred Counselling
Person-Centered Counselling is gentle, non-directive and values the relationship between the client and counsellor. You will be accepted as you are without judgement.
What I Offer
The counselling I provide can be either long or short term; you decide.
I operate from a homebased, private practice that is detached from the rest of the house.

It’s important to find a therapist that’s a good fit. Let’s chat!
I offer a free, initial chat for up to 20 minutes. During this time we can discuss what you would like to achieve from therapy. It’s also an opportunity for you to gain a sense of whether you feel comfortable enough for us to work together.
We think we listen, but very rarely do we listen with real understanding, true empathy. Yet listening, of this very special kind, is one of the most potent forces for change that I know.
